Abstract

Abstract: The Analysis of Banquet Revenue Forecast on Post Renovation of Grand Ballroom. Historical data of InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza reveal that its twenty-four function rooms owned has been contributing a large number of revenue to the hotel. InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza has planned to have a renovation on its Grand Ballroom aiming to increase the banquet revenue as its main purpose. This phenomenon emerged a prediction of an increment of banquet revenue will occur after the completion of grand ballroom renovation process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the validity that the increment of banquet revenue will be occurred after the completion of grand ballroom renovation. Research method used in the study was descriptive quantitative method and the analysis used was simple regression analysis and hypothesis T test.The result stated that the forecast of banquet revenue on the 5 (five) following years shows an increment. The result of this research has been proved with the simple regression analysis test generated from the equation of Y = 38,048,152,207 + 2,932,055,491X, meaning that any increment of one unit year by 1 score will result at 5% increment higher that previous year. Based on the result we can conclude that the banquet revenue forecast in InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza Hotel will be increased in the amount of 5% per year.
