Abstract

Manado city is one of the cities that develop tourism with ecotourism models. It wants the best move made by the government, where the government has realized under tourism development must be sustainable. Tourism development with reference to the development concept of ecotourism is always the balance between ecological, economic, social and cultural economy. Government measures that make Manado, Manado City as a Model City Ecotourism needs the support of all stakeholders of tourism it self. Both government and private sector cooperation and attention to the environment as well as academics need to be improved for the betterment of the city of Manado tourism. Boboca monument area on the beach Malalayang become attractive tourist destinations for families. Seaside decorated large black rocks, relatife calm waves make this area suitable for diving, snorkeling swimming, etc. boboca monument area on the beach Malalayang present a four point dive, dive spot three of them were made in the other one is a natural point dive. The fifth point is generally characterized by gritty dives, and there are several species of coral and exotic are mebarik divers to dive in this area. This region is also in addition to the beauty of the sea and visitors can enjoy other supporting facilities. Such as culinary tourism, which is by the beach, recreational parks, and a souvenir shop that sells a variety of knick-knacks typical North Sulawesi.
