Abstract
The purposes of this research is to prove the liyphoteses that there are positive correlations between (a) parenting pattern and motivation to make a purchase toys, (b) consumption levels and motivation to make a purchase toys, and (c) both parenting patterns and consumption levels towards motivation to make a purchase toys. The research was conducted at Kindergartens of Tunas Karya I, II, and III, Kelapa Gading in North Jakarta, The population totaled 243 children and 243 parents. The samples of 54 children and 54 parents were selected using purposive techniques. The findings of the research prove significant positive correlations between the variables tested.
