Abstract

I Wayan Andi Yasa. Design of a Nut Grinding Machine (supervised by Artian Sirun and Ivone F.Y. Polii). Currently, peanuts are processed in various ways, one of which is processing them into a mixture to make chili sauce or commonly known as peanut sauce. This research aims to determine the design of the peanut grinding machine, calculate the rotation of the peanut grinding machine and calculate the diameter of the shaft that will be used in the peanut grinding machine. The peanut grinding machine is designed with dimensions of 1040 mm x 400 mm x 1095 mm. This machine uses a grinder with a diameter of 4 Ich, a screw with a pitch of 35 mm and a screw height of 18 mm and a fin height of 5 mm which functions to push and press the nuts towards four blades with a sharp angle of 30° to chop and crush the nuts on the grinding plate. which has a hole diameter of 5 mm. The main driver of this peanut grinding machine uses a 1 HP 1 phase motor with a rotation of 1420 Rpm and uses a 1:60 gearbox reducer to reduce the rotation. By designing this peanut grinding machine, it is hoped that it can help people to make peanut grinding easier and can increase the efficiency of time and energy in the process of grinding peanuts.
